Changes in timetable due to reduced travel

Due to the current situation and to help ease rail traffic, we choose to introduce a timetable with departures every 30 minutes. Together, we can reduce the spread of Covid

Due to the current situation, we have some canceled departures. Therefore we ask you to check the travel planner so close to your trip as possible, as it may change at short notice.

Up until May 23, 2021 we will have following adjustments to our schedule:

January 11 – May 23.

Stockholm Central Station:
The first train departs at 05:05 and the last train departs at 22:35.

Monday – Friday:
05.05 – 22.35 the trains depart every 30 minutes.

Saturday + Sunday:
05.05 – 22.35 the trains depart every 30 minutes.

Stockholm Arlanda Airport:
The first train departs at 05:35 and the last train departs at 23:05.

Monday – Friday:
05.35 – 23.05 the trains depart every 30 minutes.

Saturday + Sunday:
05.35 – 23.05 the trains depart every 30 minutes.

Updated terms for refund and rebooking

Due to the current situation we have also introduced generous re-booking options which gives you the possibility to change date for travel as well as cancel your ticket. This applies provided if the ticket has not yet passed its traveling date.

General information regarding Covid-19

Our employees clean and disinfect all touch points on the trains throughout the day, and we pay close attention to critical areas in our daily cleaning routine. In addition, all trains are disinfected every night and our ticket vending machines are cleaned frequently.

However, to limit the number of touch points, we recommend that you buy your tickets on the Arlanda Express App or here on

  • We carefully follow the recommendations from local authorities. We recommend travelers to use face masks when travelling with us. Face masks can be bought in vending machines, located at the platforms.
