Terms & conditions for "My Account"

1 Using "My Account"

1.1 Creating a “My Account” on the Arlanda Express website gives you access to special features and tickets. The features and tickets available through “My Account” vary over time. For example, you get:

  • Even better customer service;   

  • Access to special tickets offered via “My Account”, e.g. the travel pass;

  • The opportunity to check your balance;

  • The opportunity to view your booking and travel history (12 months back) for all travels associated with the e-mail address you are using for “My Account”, regardless of whether you bought your ticket in logged-in mode or not, and also when you bought your ticket
    through any of our resellers;  

  • The opportunity to save your details for faster reservations and payment; and

  • Personalised communications and offers, e.g. reminders of when you need to top up your travel pass.

1.2 These terms and conditions (the “Account Terms & Conditions”) apply when you create and use a “My Account” on the Arlanda Express website. “My Account” is provided by A-Train AB (“A-Train”, “we” or “us”). You accept the Account Terms & Conditions in connection with creating your “My Account”. Creating a “My Account” is free and you can unregister at any time. The personal data processing that takes place when you create and use “My Account” is described in our Privacy Notice. Our Travel Terms & Conditions apply to the purchase and use of our services.

1.3 You must be at least 18 years of age to use “My Account”. “My Account” is your personal account and cannot be transferred to or used by someone else. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide in connection with creating and otherwise using “My Account” is complete and correct and kept up to date. You are responsible for the use of your “My Account”, for keeping your username and password secret and for all actions taken when our services are used through your “My Account”.

1.4 We may update the Account Terms & Conditions from time to time. You will be notified in good time before any significant changes enter into force. By continuing to use “My Account”, you are deemed to have approved the change.

2 Termination and suspension

2.1 Your “My Account” can be terminated at any time with immediate effect by yourself or us. For example, we can immediately close accounts that we discover have been created under false identities or that contain intentionally erroneous information.

2.2 In addition to what is otherwise stated, we have the right to temporarily or permanently terminate your “My Account” or restrict your access to and use of certain features in “My Account” (i) in the event of a likely or actual security incident or technical problem, or (ii) if you breach these Account Terms & Conditions, any law or regulation or otherwise misuse “My Account”.

2.3 Note that your account may be automatically closed if you have not logged in and used “My Account” for 24 months.

3 Limitation of liability and intellectual property rights

3.1 We assume no liability for “My Account” always being available. In the event of any liability for damages that arises due to our breach of contract, our liability is limited to compensation for any direct damage, unless there is intent or gross negligence on our part or otherwise follows from mandatory law.

3.2 All intellectual property rights, including copyright and trademarks, attributable to “My Account”, e.g. materials, trademarks, graphics, logos, button icons, images and software (source code and object code) are held by us (or our licensor) and cannot be copied or used without our written permission.

4 Governing law and dispute resolution

4.1 Swedish substantive law applies to these Account Terms & Conditions. Disputes in connection with these Account Terms & Conditions shall be settled by the general courts of Sweden.

4.2 As a consumer, you can also refer a claim for alternative dispute resolution as follows:

(a) You can report a dispute or disagreement in connection with these Account Terms & Conditions or our services to the National Board for Consumer Disputes;
(b) You can get on-line help resolving disputes with traders without going to court via the EU Commission’s dispute resolution website.
