TERMS AND CONDITIONS for luggage storage at Arlanda express

Prepared on 20 April 2026

1 INTRODUCTORY PROVISIONS

1.1 A-Train AB ("A-Train") operates rail services between Stockholm Central Station and Stockholm Arlanda Airport under the brand "Arlanda express" ("Arlanda express").

1.2 A-Train provides a lounge at Stockholm Central Station that is open to the public. In the lounge, A-Train also provides luggage storage in dedicated luggage lockers. The luggage lockers are owned by and rented out by A-Train to the customer, as further described in Section 2 (the "Service").

1.3 These terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") apply when you rent a luggage locker in the lounge.

2 HOW TO USE THE LUGGAGE LOCKERS

2.1 The luggage lockers are open to the public and you are not required to be a customer of Arlanda express or to have a specific user account.

2.2 If you wish to use the Service, you may rent a locker using the display on the locker or by scanning a QR code on the locker display with your mobile device. If you scan the QR code, you will be directed to a web-based booking platform, which means that you need an internet connection in order to complete the rental.

2.3 When renting a locker, you must choose the locker size and the desired rental period. Before you pay, you will be informed of the price in accordance with A-Train's price list in effect from time to time. In order to complete the rental, you must provide your email address and make payment in accordance with Clause 4.4 below.

2.4 Once your payment has been completed, you will be granted access to your locker, and from that point your rental commences. You will automatically be assigned a locker based on the locker size and rental period you have selected. Your locker number will be stated in the payment summary and in the confirmation email sent to you once the booking has been completed. When the locker is assigned to you, your PIN code will also be displayed and may be used to reopen the locker on the display. If you have rented the locker using your mobile device, you open the locker using the link available on your mobile device.

2.5 You must not use lockers that are marked as out of order or that show visible damage. If you discover a fault in a locker, please contact A-Train using the contact details provided on site or on the Arlanda express website.

2.6 If you experience an issue with the Service, for example that you are unable to open or otherwise access your locker, or otherwise need assistance, for example if you have lost your PIN code, please contact Arlanda express customer service using the contact details provided on site or on the Arlanda express website. If you need assistance in connection with the Service, such as if we need to open the locker for you, you acknowledge that you, as a customer, need to be able to provide the information required for us to verify your identity and that you are the person who has rented the locker (e.g. a description of the stored luggage, your email address, the time the rental commenced, whether the locker was rented via the display or a mobile device, etc.). If you are unable to provide such required information, please follow the procedure set out on missingx.com.

3 OPENING HOURS

3.1 The luggage lockers are available during A-Train Lounge opening hours:

  • Sunday–Friday: 06.00–22.00.

  • Saturday: 06.00–20.00.

3.2 Opening hours may vary, for example during public holidays and the summer months. Current opening hours for A-Train Lounge are always stated on site or on the Arlanda express website.

4 PRICES

4.1 As a customer, you pay the rental fee for the luggage locker in accordance with A-Train's price list for the rental of luggage lockers in effect from time to time. There are three locker sizes to choose from, and these have three different price levels.

4.2 Once the rental period has commenced, you are not entitled to a refund. If, however, the locker is faulty or defective and A-Train cannot offer another locker on site, you are entitled to a refund of the amount paid.

4.3 All prices stated are in Swedish kronor and include value added tax (VAT).

4.4 A-Train cooperates with third parties that provide payment services through which all your payments will be processed before being settled with A-Train. The payment methods that you may choose from time to time, and the more detailed terms for each payment method, are set out in the interface for the Service or in connection with the payment method you choose.

5 PROHIBITED CONTENT AND PARTICULARLY HIGH-RISK ITEMS

5.1 You must not store prohibited content in the luggage lockers. Prohibited content includes, among other things, the following:

a) explosive substances, fireworks or flammable substances; b) toxic chemicals, compressed gases and radioactive materials; c) firearms, ammunition, knives and other weapons; d) illegal drugs or controlled substances; e) food; f) live or dead animals; g) strong-smelling items; or h) other items that are illegal, dangerous or may cause harm.

5.2 You must also not use the luggage lockers in breach of applicable law.

5.3 A-Train is entitled to open, empty, remove and take possession of contents in a locker if we have reason to believe that the locker contains prohibited content or is being used in breach of the preceding paragraph or otherwise in breach of these Terms and Conditions. A-Train is not liable for damage or loss arising as a result of such action, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.

5.4 We recommend that you exercise particular caution if you choose to store any of the following items ("High-Risk Items") in our luggage lockers:

a) cash; b) jewellery; c) valuable items (including, but not limited to, mobile phones, laptop computers and other electronic equipment); and d) passports, legal documents and confidential documents.

6 A-TRAIN'S LIABILITY FOR STORED LUGGAGE

6.1 The luggage lockers are unattended, and you are responsible for ensuring that the locker is properly locked and that you do not give unauthorised persons access to the locker. As a customer, you acknowledge that storage in the lockers cannot entirely eliminate the risk of damage, loss or theft and that A-Train is not liable for damage arising as a result of theft or other unauthorised acts, except as set out in Clause 6.2 below.

6.2 If luggage is damaged or stolen during the rental period as a result of a fault or defect in the locker, or as a result of an unauthorised person having gained access to the locker because of such fault or defect, A-Train may, following assessment, provide limited compensation of up to SEK 10 000 per rental occasion.

6.3 If, at the end of the rental period, you are unable to retrieve the luggage due to a fault in the locker or another unforeseen event not directly attributable to A-Train, such as a power or network outage preventing the locker from being opened, please contact Arlanda express customer service using the contact details provided on site or on the Arlanda express website. A-Train shall take reasonable measures to restore access to the locker. For as long as the luggage cannot be retrieved for this reason, it shall not be deemed left behind under Clause 7.1. If you have not had access to your luggage for more than 4 hours and this has caused you direct loss, A-Train may, following assessment, provide limited compensation of up to SEK 10 000 per rental occasion.

6.4 Compensation under Clauses 6.2 and 6.3 is not provided for prohibited content, High-Risk Items under Clause 5.4, luggage stored in breach of these Terms and Conditions, damage or loss caused by your failure to lock the locker properly or by your giving access to someone else, or damage or loss affecting luggage left behind in accordance with Clause 7.1 below.

6.5 If the luggage is covered by insurance, you must first seek compensation from your insurer.

6.6 If anything in the locker has been damaged or stolen, you must contact Arlanda express customer service as soon as possible. As a starting point, your complaint must be made in writing. You must provide the information and documentation that A-Train reasonably requests in order to assess your claim, such as a description of the item, information about its value, evidence of ownership and supporting documents showing that the item has been damaged or stolen. In the event of theft, a police report must also be submitted.

6.7 If A-Train approves your claim, compensation may be provided for the repair cost of restoring the item or, if repair is not possible or reasonable, in an amount corresponding to the item's value taking into account its age and condition. Compensation under this section does not mean that A-Train admits liability for damages and shall never exceed the compensation cap set out in applicable Clause 6.2 or 6.3.

6.8 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits A-Train's liability to the extent that such liability arises under mandatory law.

7 LEFT BEHIND LUGGAGE

7.1 The maximum storage period is 24 hours. You are responsible for emptying the locker no later than at the end of the rental period and during the lounge's opening hours. A-Train is not responsible for you being able to access the locker outside opening hours. If the rental period expires at a time outside the lounge's opening hours, you are responsible for emptying the locker beforehand during the lounge's opening hours, even if this means that you are unable to use the locker for the entire rental period.

7.2 If you have not collected your luggage in accordance with Clause 7.1, the contents will be classified as lost property and A-Train is entitled to open the locker, take charge of the contents and charge an administrative fee for their release in accordance with the price list in effect from time to time.

7.3 If you are unable to retrieve the luggage at the end of the rental period due to a circumstance referred to in Clause 6.3, the luggage shall not be deemed left behind during the period in which the locker cannot be opened. Clause 7.1 shall become applicable only once the issue has been remedied and you have thereafter had a reasonable opportunity to collect the luggage during the lounge's opening hours.

8 TECHNICAL PLATFORM FOR THE SERVICE

A-Train, or its licensors, hold all rights in the underlying technical platform and interface that form part of the Service and to which you are given access. You may only use the Service and the underlying platform as set out in these Terms and Conditions and under no circumstances for illegal purposes, or otherwise obtain, or enable others to obtain, unauthorised access to the underlying platform, or otherwise act in breach of applicable law.

9 BREACH OF CONTRACT

In addition to what is expressly stated in the Terms and Conditions, A-Train reserves the right to pursue and remedy breaches of contract, such as storage of prohibited content (Clause 5.3) or unauthorised use of the underlying platform (Clause 8). A-Train also reserves the right to report incidents to the police where a breach of contract or other unauthorised act is suspected.

10 GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

10.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the substantive laws of Sweden. Disputes arising out of the Terms and Conditions shall be decided by the Swedish general courts.

10.2 Alternatively, as a consumer, you may refer the dispute to alternative dispute resolution in one of the following ways:
