Stockholm Central Station is located right in the middle of Stockholm city centre. Here’s everything you need to know about the central station. Including how to find the Arlanda express trains, even when the central station is closed.

Our trains depart from platforms 1 and 2

The Arlanda express trains depart from platforms 1 and 2 at Stockholm Central Station. We have our own departure lounge and taxi terminal next to our platforms. 

There are two entrances that lead directly to the Arlanda express platforms:

• Kungsbron 1

• The intersection Vasaplan/Östra Järnvägsgatan 15

When Stockholm Central Station is closed

Stockholm Central Station is closed at night. But the entrances to the Arlanda express trains at Vasaplan/Östra Järnvägsgatan 15 and Kungsbron 1 are always open during our train operating hours. You can reach them by walking via Vasagatan. 

Our own taxi terminal

Our own taxi terminal is right next to the Arlanda express platforms. All taxis in our designated area have a contractual agreement with us. So you can choose between taxi companies that meet Arlanda express’ and the Swedish Taxi Association’s standards with regulated prices.

Stockholm Central Station is right in the heart of Stockholm City. Many hotels and other services are within walking distance. Also, there are subway trains, commuter trains, trams and other means of transportations at Stockholm Central Station. So it’s easy to get around and see the sights.
